MoU with CIDESCO International
The first MoU was signed with CIDESCO, the largest certifying body which represents the world’s greatest standards in Beauty therapy and Spa recognized across 60 countries. This association will not only help to set service delivery standards, but also bring about a uniformity in our trainings and help in knowledge exchange between India and other International Countries. Not only will this greatly benefit the industry but also help get global recognition to the students trained in Beauty & Wellness in India globally, truly making India the “Skill Capital of the World”.
Ms Anna CuriGund, President CIDESCO international had flown in specially to sign this MoU. Mrs Vandana Luthra, Chairperson Beauty & Wellness Sector Skill Council signed the MoU on behalf of B&WSSC.

MoU Signed with VLCC Healthcare, O2 Spa, Enrich Salons
On the culmination ceremony of the Apprenticeship Pakhwada by NSDC, B&WSSC signed apprenticeship MoU’s with brands such as VLCC Healthcare, O2 Spa & Salon, Enrich Hair & Skin Solutions in august presence of Dr. Mahendra Nath Pandey, Minister of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship & Mr Nitin Gadhkari, Minister of Transport, Highways & MSME along with other senior officers from NSDC & Beauty & Wellness industry. B&WSSC met Mr. Kunal Datt, Education Sector Consultant, The World Bank, to discuss the different possibilities in the skilling arena.

MoU with IGPTU
B&WSSC signed MoU with I. K. Gujral Punjab Technical University, Jalandhar to serve as a knowledge partner & extend domain knowledge expertise while contributing to the skill sets of their students & society at large with specific focus on the skill development & training for the Beauty & Wellness sector. The MOU was signed by Ms Monica Bahl, CEO (B&WSSC) & Prof. (Dr.) Ajay K. Sharma, Vice-Chancellor (IGPTU), in presence of Dr. S. S. Walia, Registrar (IGPTU).

MoU signed with Indian Yoga Association
B&WSSC signs an MoU with the Indian Yoga Association to promote skilling of youth in Yoga. An initiative to develop curriculum, train the trainers, define job roles & build capacity. Ms Monica Bahl, CEO-B&WSSC exchanged the MoU in presence of Padma Shri awardee Dr H.R. Nagendra, Maa Hansa Ji Yogendra, other Yoga Gurus & dignitaries from the Ministry of Ayush at the Ayuryog Expo 2019.
MoU signed for RPL Type
At the Annual General Meeting, MoU was also signed with Geetanjali salon, The Art of Living & VLCC Healthcare for certifying their employees under PMKVY RPL type 4. In an effort to provide recognition to the informal learning, Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship (MSDE) and National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) through this RPL project type-4 would like to ensure wider outreach to the large uncertified workforce across the country, through direct partnerships with Sector Skill Councils and Industry/ Corporate. Collaboration with the Top Employers shall help to enhance credibility of certification and help to promote mobility of the workforce across the sector. Industry will also benefit from their workforce being certified under National Skill qualification Framework.
MoU signed with White Lotus
MoU has been signed with White Lotus (Manasa Yoga) School of Yoga teacher’s training in Malaysia for rolling out the Indian standards of Yoga internationally. The signing took place in the presence of Shri Manoj Kaimal Yoga from White Lotus. Since 2002, he has qualified and empowered dozens of Malaysian Yoga Alliance recognized teachers and B&WSSC joined hands with him to take the Indian Yoga standards to Malaysia.
MoU with International Yoga Alliance
MoU signed with International Yoga alliance. Through this MoU the standards created in Yoga by the Sector Skill Council is used for training Yoga professionals globally. The MoU was signed by Swami Vidyanand from International Yoga Alliance and Mrs Vandana Luthra, Chairperson – Beauty & Wellness Sector Skill Council (B&WSSC).
MoU with Capital Float
Another Collaboration is signing an MoU with Capital Float, an NBFC, for facilitating skill loans for Beauty & Wellness candidates. The loan is available on lower interest rates and with flexible repayment options.
MoU with Brain Ware University
In an effort towards providing degree courses in Beauty & Wellness. The MoU was signed with Brain Ware University for rolling out degree programs in Beauty, Nail and Hair. The University is currently ranked as one of the top private universities in West Bengal under the chairmanship of its Chancellor. MoU with EduVanz
B&WSSC, in its earnest endeavour to facilitate Skill Loans for the candidates, signed the MoU with Eduvanz, an NBFC, operating in the candidate level financing space. With Eduvanz coming in, Beauty & Wellness candidates can now avail skill loans on zero percent interest rate.
MoU Tata Strive
An EOI between Tata Strive and B&WSSC was signed for working together on different avenues and taking forward the aim of developing a stronger skill ecosystem in Beauty & Wellness domain. The signing took place in the presence of Mr. Rakesh Sharma from Tata Strive.
MoU with Rayat Bahra University
Another significant step in the skilling arena – B&WSSC signed MoU with Rayat Bahra University (Rayat Educational and Research Trust) for launching B. Voc courses in Beauty & Wellness domain for the students of the university. It is a significant step towards providing the youth Beauty & Wellness courses, thus making it a serious career option.
MoU signed for Placements
An MoU was signed between B&WSSC and well renowned organisations like Housejoy.in; Urban Company; IOSIS; Enrich Salon for fulfilling their hiring requirements and for long term mutual associations.
